We recently enjoyed interviewing her.
Q. What inspired you to start Envisyo.ai, and how did you identify the need for AI solutions like chatbots and voice assistants specifically for SMEs?
A. I have been in digital transformation since 2018. I graduated with a Computer Science degree. I have been in technology for decades now. In Australia alone, I have implemented $50Mil+ in combined program value on large scale digital transformation serving Australians especially in healthcare.
It was 10 PM, when I received a WhatsApp message from my Beauty therapist. She was booking an appointment. Long story short, she was booking someone else’s appointment with me. Apparently, she forgot who that customer was. Two problems here: 1) Bad & delayed customer experience. Worse she forgot who that customer was. 2) She was booking appointments at 10 PM instead of spending time with her family or having some ‘me time’. Spontaneously, I told her you need an AI Receptionist, we laughed then, but when I implemented one, it not only gave her time back, but excelled in customer experience. Her customers now book appointments instantly while she is busy serving her current customer. She now boasts about having an AI Receptionist that works 24/7.
Artificial Intelligence has been available for years, however over the last couple of years it has opened significant opportunities for Small/Medium and Non-profit Organisations and that’s when I knew that this technology can be a real benefit. The Chatbots and AI Voice Assistants can be implemented as your business companion especially for the Solo-entrepreneurs. You can now have a Chatbot with your tone and branding, answering questions and booking appointments with your customers. One of the biggest advantages is that it gives your business a presence 24/7. Imagine having the ability for a customer to book an appointment at 3 AM for your services.
Q. Many small and medium businesses still see AI as something “complex” or “expensive.” How does Envisyo.ai simplify and make AI accessible for them?
A. That is very true! Envisyo.ai believes in solving customer problems. It’s not a one size fits all strategy. Rather, we work with customers and understand which solution is going to maximise benefits for their client. Envisyo educates customers ensuring responsible and customer centric implementations. We make sure that the entire customer journey is seamless and beneficial for our clients. In many cases the ROI is covered within 6 months of implementation. Remember the time that you get back to is also a Return on Investment (ROI).
Q. With the rapid evolution of AI tools and technologies, how do you stay ahead of trends and ensure your solutions remain innovative and future-ready?
A. “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi. I am passionate about learning and innovating. I keep myself well informed through continuous learning in my field of “Emerging Technology” by various courses, working with mentors and meeting and exploring with people in tech. My clients are my biggest motivation to continue innovating. They come up with requirements and push me to think of creative and innovative solutions. Personally, it has been a thrilling experience for me, something that has now become an addiction.
Q. Can you share a success story or case study where your AI solutions made a significant difference to a client’s business operations or customer experience?
A. Since I have already shared a success story, I will share a case study.
A rapidly growing SME in the Real Estate industry faced challenges managing high call volumes and identifying quality leads, especially with interest rate cuts. To address this, we deployed a custom AI Voice Assistant capable of answering calls 24/7, engaging prospects in natural conversations, and intelligently pre-qualifying leads based on specific business criteria (e.g. customer with pre-approvals from banks). The AI Voice Assistant seamlessly handled inbound inquiries, asking targeted questions to assess prospect needs, budget, and urgency. Qualified leads were instantly routed to the sales team, while less promising calls received helpful information or self-service options. This voice-driven automation not only captured every lead but also eliminated time spent on unqualified prospects.
Within three months, the client saw a remarkable 50% increase in qualified leads and a 60% reduction in response time. The sales team could now focus solely on high-potential opportunities, resulting in faster conversions and a measurable boost in customer satisfaction. Customers appreciated the prompt, human-like engagement and the ability to get instant answers after hours.
By integrating an AI Voice Assistant, the SME streamlined operations, grew lead quality, and elevated customer experience demonstrating how AI can be a game-changer for small businesses seeking scalable and effective solutions.
Q. As a woman founder in the tech industry, what challenges have you faced and what advice would you give to other women aspiring to build tech-driven businesses?
A. I often get asked this question. Honestly, I don’t see any limitations for Women in any field not just Tech. I believe, women are not less than men, on the contrary they have better Leadership skills. And in today’s time where you can use Technology to your advantage, it is the Soft and Leadership skills that you need as an entrepreneur. For aspiring women, all I can say is “Believe in yourself, if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.”
The other two important things are
1) Be Authentic. It’s ok if you don’t know something, admitting it will only create trust.
2) Be a life-long learner. “Anybody who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” – Henry Ford. So let’s choose to stay young.
