“The gypsy soul makes no excuses for her wild heart. She leaves normal behind, searching for a place she can truly be free.”
We often organise photoshoots and fashion shows for our members who are in the fashion industry. The aim of our fashion features, photoshoots, online magazine issues etc, is to empower and uplift women through fashion and make them feel confident about themselves. Another purpose is to provide a platform for women to showcase their talents, skills and products.
We recently organised a Photoshoot for Eesha Boutique (https://www.eeshaboutique.com), owned by our member Shilpa Sodal, in collaboration with Sakhi magazine. The project is titled ‘Boho Chic’. Alpana Srivastava, Reeta Josan, Ahalya Rentala & Tiya Gorain showcased their summer collection – bohemian style breezy kaftans, which are very versatile and multi functional.

Traditional boho style was first adopted by artists at the turn of the century who were living a nomadic lifestyle, their style was inspired by the gypsies and Romany people that they lived amongst.

Free flowing and effortless, these kaftans are suitable for all occasions. Whether you are going to the beach, a coffee catchup with a friend or a lunch party, these kaftans are the answer.

Photography was done by the talented Shantana Deka Dutta, owner of Light Antana Photography (https://m.facebook.com/lightantana/) who beautifully captured the untamed souls of these women through her lens.
