An artist is always fond of the stage, with the audience being their motivation and many a time, an inspiration. With the Covid -19 Pandemic, the entire world has gone through a different and challenging time, artists in particular.
While Technology provided opportunities in the form of Digital recordings and an indefinite number of online performances, the feeling of being on stage has a charm of its own. As the artistic director of Shakthiswaraa School of Dance (https://www.facebook.com/Shakthiswaraa-School-of-Dance-260725261260632/). I was overwhelmed when we were given the opportunity to recently perform for TAAI – Telugu Associated of Australia Inc. It was special because this was the second consecutive year that I have associated with them.
My students and I were thrilled to be back on stage after a long haul of 9 months. It was indeed an energy booster. With things getting back to the ‘New-Normal’ I hope to be performing on stage a lot more this year!
