A rare combination of talent, intellect and beauty, Rumki is amongst the very few dancers who perform three Indian classical dance styles – Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi & Odissi with equal dexterity and virtuosity. She holds a doctorate degree in Bharata Natyam from Kerala Kalamandalam, India and University of California, USA.
Rumki has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in India and USA. Through the years her performances have received critical acclaim and also appreciation from audiences in India and abroad. She has presented dance concerts and lecture demonstrations in the USA, Australia, Sweden, Denmark and India.
Rumki’s creative pursuit in the realm of performing arts is her intrinsic journey of self-evolvement.
