Meet our featured beauty with brains Nisha Mayank, a DJ based in Sydney, Australia. Here is an interview with her.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a kind-hearted caring person and always ready to help my friends and family at any time. I am mischievous and innocent at the same time. I’m very motivated and love doing what I do.
I am a humble and compassionate person. I enjoy sharing things and talking to people about a variety of things. I have a quick wit and love to laugh about everything under the sun. I can be quiet at first, but once you get to know me, I don’t shut up. I am fun loving, but serious when necessary.
P.s I am the mother of a naughty brat who is 4 years old now.
2. How do you feel when you are DJing? What are
your feelings when you play music?
Music is an art that I love which energises me.
3. What are your goals and how do you see yourself in the future.
I see myself as a successful woman entrepreneur and setting an example for those women who think because of their responsibilities they won’t be able to achieve their dreams. It’s never too late and nothing can stop you if you are determined!
4. Do you think it’s difficult to be a female artist in a male dominated industry?
Indeed! But now it’s time for female DJs to become just DJs. Unfortunately it is in every aspect in today’s world but you shouldn’t not do something because of that hurdle or stop yourself from achieving your dreams and rather focus on the message that you want to convey as a female in a male dominated world. Know the person you are and figure out what you can excel in. The word Impossible itself says I M Possible.
